Abhisyaant Saravanan

Young Siward

Abhi is a 2024 Royal Birmingham Conservatoire graduate, and he is really excited to be returning to Kew Gardens this summer after taking part in the 2024 Australian Shakespeare Company's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. He started performing at the age of 8 in musical theatre and trained in singing, acting and various dance forms over the course of 10 years before going to drama school.

He has primarily worked on Shakespeare since the end of his time at drama school and has played Don John(Much Ado About Nothing, Crescent Theatre), Corin/Audrey(As You Like It, Midlands Arts Centre) and understudied Flute/Demetrius/Starveling(A Midsummer Night’s Dream). Aside from Shakespeare, characters he has played include; Mr Farouk(‘Oil’ by Ella Hickson), Brian(‘New Labour’ by Marcelo Dos Santos) and Senator Fipp(‘Urinetown’ by Greg Kotis and Mark Hollmann)

He is currently balancing acting work with his filmmaking passion. He uses his camera gear to create content with friends and is working on making short films.

He has experience playing piano and is currently really enjoying learning the guitar.

Abhi hopes you enjoy Macbeth and your day at Kew Gardens!
