Jonathon graduated from Ensemble Studios, Sydney in 1999 and has since enjoyed a diverse career across Australia and internationally.

He has performed in A Streetcar Named Desire, Snoopy!, Wrong Turn at Lungfish, and A Year with Frog and Toad for the Ensemble Theatre. In 2000, he co-founded Hemlock Productions, co-producing and performing in Wolfboy (Tap Gallery) and The Boys (The Edge Theatre).

Other stage credits include Spunks (Push-Up Theatre Company, Stables Theatre) and Honey (Hash Honey Pty Ltd, Parramatta Riverside). Internationally, Jonathon performed with Nameless Theatre in Japan in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Othello (2017), and played Parolles in All’s Well That Ends Well with the Prague Shakespeare Company (2019).

In 2012, following a Theatre in Education tour of Italy with ACLE’s Theatrino, Jonathon joined the Australian Shakespeare Company as Ratty in The Wind in the Willows, performing the role for four consecutive Sydney summer seasons. He later reprised the role in London (2021) and Melbourne (2023). He also appeared in Toad’s Birthday Party and serves as a workshop facilitator for the ASC’s Play on Shakespeare school incursion program.
