Ophelia is thrilled to be joining the Australian Shakespeare Company for this wonderful production. She will be stepping onto solid ground after six unforgettable years performing across the globe on cruise ships. Her time at sea allowed her to travel extensively, entertain audiences from every corner of the world, and refine her craft in a truly unique and dynamic environment.
A versatile performer with a deep love for classical theatre, Ophelia trained at The University of Chichester Conservatoire and has since built a career that spans musical theatre, immersive theatre, contemporary drama, and Shakespearean performance. Her passion for storytelling and her dedication to the stage have taken her from ocean stages under the stars to now surrounding herself in the beautiful nature at Kew Gardens just a stone’s throw from her home!
Returning once more to land-based theatre, Ophelia is embracing the opportunity to connect more deeply with local audiences and fellow artists. Being part of this production marks an exciting new chapter in her career, one where she can combine her international experience with a renewed focus on the classics that first inspired her love for performance. She is honoured to be part of this talented cast and hopes audiences enjoy the magic of live theatre “al fresco” as much as she does.
