Outdoor Theatre, Come Rain or Shine (Mostly!)
At Theatre on Kew, our performances are staged in the great outdoors - surrounded by the beauty of nature, the charm of Kew Gardens, and occasionally, the unpredictability of the weather!
We always aim to go ahead with performances as scheduled, even if there's light rain. However, the safety of our audience, cast, and crew is our top priority. In the event of bad weather, such as consistent rain, high winds, lightning, or dangerous conditions, performances may be cancelled or postponed.
What Happens If It Rains?
- Performances continue in light rain - bring a raincoat and something to sit on!
- Umbrellas are welcome before the show but must be lowered during the performance to ensure visibility for everyone.
